The W Hotel in Sydney’s Darling Harbour is an eye catching iconic contemporary building. Yet it ran into difficulty providing a basic modern necessity. Mobile phone reception was not uniformly excellent throughout the building. This is a problem many buildings built with energy efficient glass will face in the years ahead. The Ci Group installed new DAS technology (including 5G coverage) that fixed the reception problem economically. So not only did hotel guests on their mobile benefit, but so did the planet. Modern glass and mobile phone technology can coexist.
