This interactive LED wall was one of the first of its kind installed anywhere in the world. In fact, such a wall did not appear at an American university until some years later.
It allows QUT student guides to engage with students armed with tablet that swooshes content to the screen, or to have the students explore content on their own directly interacting with the screen. Numerous groups of students can interact with the screen simultaneously and zones can operate independently of each other.
Such a degree of sophistication is made possible by the system’s Videro content management software, the same German software behind Segaworld in Japan and used extensively in both the USA and Europe.
