Eager Automotive’s Automall West within Indooroopilly Shopping Centre, presents an exciting new direction in the evolution of automotive retailing. Unlike traditional individual new car showrooms typically found on major arterial roads, Automall West combines over eight separate auto-branded experiences within the one location, allowing prospective buyers the opportunity to compare different makes and models within easy reach of each other and of other shopping destinations.
The Ci Group, in conjunction with project partners Technically Art and Habital Digital, have equipped Automall to provide visitors a range of audiovisual experiences, combining audiophilic soundscapes and large format display in common areas, and customer engagement via AV at more granular level for individual dealerships.
The project has since won the Inavate APAC Award for Retail, a significant achievement internationally as entries were considered from Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Phillipines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Australia and New Zealand. Winning the retail category made it feel even more of an achievement, as retail in Asia is particularly well advanced in its embrace of technology.
